About First Year Engineering

The department of first year engineering is known as the department of Humanities, Applied Sciences and General Engineering. It is one of the basic and important department to establish the important link between pure Sciences and engineering branches. The department deals with the subjects like engineering physics, engineering chemistry, computer programming, engineering mechanics, electrical engineering, engineering graphics, workshop practices, ECS and mathematics. The department is taking the consistent effort for maintaining the topper result in Amravati University. The Department also hold medical dispensary for emergency treatments for the students. This department is furnished by well equipped six laboratories with, sophisticated instruments, computer Lab and Work-Shop, which gear up to ensure strong fundamentals. This department provides the research facility in the interdisciplinary areas of composite material, ultrasonic, nonmaterial, green synthesis, environmental pollution, etc in the research laboratory recognized by S.G.B. Amravati University. The main backbone of the department consists of a team of 40 highly qualified and experienced faculty members with 12 doctorates including one Ph.D. supervisor. 12 staff members are pursuing their Ph.D. and working on their research topics. The faculty members have authored more than 100 research papers in national/ international journals and conferences.
